A face lift or rhytidectomy procedure may require a longer downtime which anyway depends on the individual and the type of face lift performed. As it is quite invasive, you will require 1-2 of hospitalization and you will not be allowed to make any effort during the following two weeks, when partial healing also occurs. Most patients return to work after 10-14 days from the procedure, however, during this period you should also get plenty of rest and lay horizontally a lot, to avoid the vertical position that can strain the freshly stretched skin and break the stitches. The skin may feel tender and sensitive for up to one month and swelling and bruising can last from one week up to four weeks.

Any scarring, bruising and swelling will fade and disappear in time, leaving you with a much smoother, firmer and fresher look! If you feel young on the inside, why shouldn't your outside reflect it? Renew Skin & Health Clinic in Leamington Spa is the perfect place to make this happen!
